Getting it straight

The Democrat-Gazette wants its news reports to be fair and accurate. We correct all errors of fact.

Jean Duffey testified Friday in federal court in Little Rock that a man who had been arrested by two Pulaski County sheriff’s deputies asserted that another man claimed to have seen the two deputies grab two boys later found dead on Saline County railroad tracks in 1987. An article in Saturday’s edition on the trial of a defamation lawsuit filed by the two law enforcement officers incorrectly said that the man who had been arrested was also a purported eyewitness.
